Martin Seitler established M.Seitler & Co in 1992. As principal of the firm he is personally responsible for the smooth running of the practice and for ensuring that all his staff work to the highest standards in providing a first class client service.

With over 25 years in practice, Martin has acquired formidable expertise and professional experience. His client portfolio includes a wide range of sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and limited companies . Whether it is working on tax returns, providing tax advice, preparing accounts or completing self assessment tax returns , Martin is here to bring the benefit of his experience to your business.

When not working, Martin, who is married with 4 children, is an enthusiastic cyclist, completing sponsored bike rides for charity. A keen swimmer, he also plays football to an exceptionally low standard! Martin also heads up a charity providing financial and emotional support to victims of terrorist atrocities.

William, or Bill as he is known, has worked in the accounting profession for nearly 40 years, preparing accounts , personal and corporation tax returns as well as VAT returns. He has a thorough operational knowledge of many accounting, bookkeeping and taxation software as well as manual operations.

His speciality is SAGE products and can advise on the purchase and operation of the software. He spends his leisure time visiting different parts of the UK and Europe to sample the culture and meet new friends.

Catheryn has worked in accountancy since 2000. Initially she worked in industry whilst completing her accounting studies before transferring to practice. She is experienced in the preparation of accounts, VAT and tax returns. When not working she spends her time taking part in motor sports.

Ghulam began his accountancy career when he joined M Seitler & Co in 1999 and has been with us ever since.

His work involves the preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. He also completes tax returns , both personal and corporate.

Ghulam enjoys watching boxing and is a fan of the Kopites (“we won it five times”).

John has worked in accountancy for over 20 years and became part of the team at M Seitler & Co in 2007.

John has a wealth of experience in the accounts of sole traders and partnerships, VAT returns, payroll and tax returns as well as knowledge of the Construction Industry Scheme.

John’s interests include music, badminton, squash, current affairs, computing and is a keen hiker.

Gary qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991 , and specialises in all aspects of accounting connected with owner-managed businesses. These include company start-ups and incorporations, VAT, bookkeeping, sage software, payroll, business plans and year end accounts.

Malcolm was educated at Manchester Grammar School & Oxford University.

He has worked in accountancy for 30 years, mainly preparing accounts, but also VAT returns and some bookkeeping. He also has a good understanding of SAGE products.

His interests include swimming, reading, playing bridge, current affairs and watching sport.

Anthony has been working as an acountant for over two decades, initially in industry but most extensively in private practice. He has a broad range of experience including preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. He also completes personal and corporate tax returns. Outside of work his interests include sports (watching mainly but he does try and play golf) and travel.

Philip has over thirty years of accountancy experience, beginning his career in industry before moving into private practice. Having worked with a wide range of clients, he has extensive knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation.

Away from the office, he enjoys sport, music and current affairs.

Marie previously worked for the Nat West bank for almost 20 years before becoming a secretary at M Seitler & Co in June 2002. Marie works closely with Martin and is responsible for all outgoing correspondence. She also operates the telephone switchboard, and assists with completing VAT returns,company formations and a host of other administrative and clerical tasks.

Her spare time mainly revolves around her family and they enjoy visiting places of interest, going to the coast and cycling. She also enjoys gardening and reading.

Brenda previously worked in banking and education before joining M Seitler & Co in September 2003. Brenda assists and supports Marie in her role as secretary in many aspects of her work.

Outside interests include swimming and yoga and dance.
